Class Registration Form (Compulsory)
All classes must have a register completed on each occasion for child safety and fire reasons.
A series of printed forms will normally be supplied, which are provided from ChurchSuite as per ICCMissions Kids Kingdom policy. These should be returned to the Kids Kingdom Coordinator at the end of each service to enable the online register to also be completed.

Child Registration Form (Compulsory)
All regular children are required to be registered using ChurchSuite. This is normally considered to apply if a child attends for two weeks or more.
Visiting children are currently not required to complete a form, although parents should certainly be asked or anticipated to give any special information that be necessary regarding their child.

Class Information
Normal Sunday Timetable
All children stay in the main service during the worship, welcome, communion and announcement sections.
This also allows all teachers and helpers to then take communion during the main part of the service.
Rooms for teaching are booked from 11:45am to 12:45pm
12:05am START: All classes are scheduled to start after the break in the main service at around 12 noon.
12:40pm FINISH: Parents are strictly asked not to collect their children until 12:40pm.
12:45pm COMPLETED: Packing up should then be completed by 12:45pm, when the room bookings also end.
Age Groups
We currently operate the following age groups :-
CUBS 3-6 years old SPORTS HALL
FOXES 7-9 years old PERCY BARRATT ROOM
TIGERS 10-12 years old FOYER
Children will normally ascend to the next age group class immediately after their relevant birthday, and at the start of the next two monthly cycle. This is however flexible and will be in consultation with the parents of that child to ensure maturity, friendship or other needs are met first..
Teacher/Helper Policy
Generally we have a policy that all teachers and helpers have been church members for at least 2 years. This is more to ensure they learn from and enjoy the services and fellowship as young christians rather than being a statement on their maturity, and can therefore be adapted depending on circumstances.
All teachers and helpers are required to undergo DBS Checks according to the ICCM Child Protection Policy (more details to follow).
We seek to rotate teachers and helpers as much as are able to give everyone a chance to enjoy the main services, and hence why we try to involve as many people as we can in the children's ministry. We consider five the minimum number to run the classes effectively and within legal constraints, and do not seek to currently use more than this in order to ensure the maximum number of adults are in the main services.
We currently operate a two-monthly rota as we believe this to be the best balance between sufficiently being involved with the children, planning and then completing a unit, and yet not feeling it too long since being involved in the main service or full fellowship. We recognise it is a tricky balance and we do thank you for your cooperation, and also welcome feedback.
If a teacher or helper is unable to make a particular Sunday it is for the teacher or helper to themselves organise a replacement in advance. We recognise this can be onerous, but experience shows this to be the best practice to avoid class cancellations.
